Electromagnetic relay is an electronic control device, it has a control system (also called the input circuit) and control system (also known as the output circuit), usually used in automatic control circuit, it is actually a small current to a larger current automatic switch control".

1 - iron core 2 - suction coil 3 - armature 4 - normally open contact 5 - normally closed contact 6 - restore the spring.

The figure is a schematic diagram of an electromagnetic current electric device. When the current of the coil 2 exceeds a certain value, the attraction of the iron rail 3 is larger than the counterforce produced by the spring 6, and is absorbed by the iron core 1 to drive the mechanical device to close the normally open contact, and the normally closed contact is disconnected. If the relay is out of power, the contact is restored to the original position under the action of the restoring spring.
