What are the characteristics of the protective current transformer?

The protective current transformer is mainly used for power system fault, and short-circuit current when the fault will cause the transformer core saturation, and the excitation current is increased, thereby increasing the transformer transmission error, especially at the beginning of the short circuit current fault in DC current transformer core in the remaining remanence.
